So its been awhile...

We're in the midst of life...nothing too huge to report. Maddie is doing great in preschool and thoroughly enjoying her ballet class. I love watching this girly grow up! She is such a big help to her momma and a great example to her siblings. AJ is actually p
icking up some preschool-y things unintentionally...he can now write the letter 'C' and I caught him counting in Spanish up to 4! This I have to give Dora and Diego credit for, however, I'm not teaching the kids spanish! And Selah is totally a pro at eating solids now :) She is starting to actually dislike bottles already and I think would prefer to receive all her food in solid form! She has also started sitting up with only a little bit of support. This just blows me away! I think we may have an early walker here and that, my friends, would keep me very busy!

Here are some recent pics of my cutie pies....

4 Months and 4 Years
The girlies in our family reach some milestones this month! Selah just recently turned 4 months and in a few days Madelyn will turn 4 years! Wow. Time has gone by so quickly. We have been enjoying our time with Selah...the two months we've had her have been such fun---we love watching her grow and reach new developmental marks like rolling over, tracking us with her eyes, responding to our voices, cooing, laughing, grabbing her feet and toys, as well as grabbing our faces. We have truly been blessed by this little one! And now we prepare for our oldest daughter to turn 4. I can't believe it! Maddie is getting more grown up by the hour it seems, and she is such a help to me at home and a wonderful playmate to AJ and Selah. Here are some pictures of my beauties :)

Ahoy There Matey!

My aunt sent us one of the best and most loved gifts to date...a pirate dress-up kit. Oh my goodness. AJ is fully embracing this new lifestyle. He officially calls his sword by its proper term "cutlass" and is not seen without his eye patch. If you want him to do anything promptly, simply speak to him in "Pirate-ese" and call him "Captain Roo-y" and he'll do it faster than a flag hoisted up the mainstaff! :)For the longest time this poor kid was found wearing Maddie's princess gear without anything to wear, and slowly but surely he has acquired quite a dress up collection himself...from knight cape, to superhero gear and now pirate gear. How fun its been to watch him start to create his own pret
end world. Here are some pics of my fearsome little pirate crew. Aaaaargh!!!!

Cuteness Among the Clutter...

I mean seriously, who can focus on cleaning while looking at a face like that?
